Glorious Goodwood...

...At dawn.

Talk about brevity of opportunity... I had just a couple of minutes to grab this one. I literally ran the last part of the climb up and traverse across St Roche's Hill to get the composition I wanted.

The sun broke the horizon at the same time as the clouds were piling in towards it on the prevailing southwesterly. Beautiful vermilion dawn light momentarily illuminated the grandstand and a few moments later, the skies sealed shut and the light was gone.
